How to Order

Please note that the use of the Mail Order service is not restricted to Society members.
Orders are welcomed from members and non-members alike.
We will deliver worldwide.

All publications, maps, binders, research aids, etc, listed in the on-line catalogue are available via our Mail Order service at the prices shown. Publications may also be purchased at the Bookshop at Clayton House in Manchester during opening hours. The weight of each item is shown in the catalogue. When ordering by post, please add the weights of each item together and then check the total weight against the Postage and Packing Rates appropriate to the destination. Please use the order form, and print in block capitals your title (Dr. Mr Mrs Ms Miss, etc), name and full delivery address clearly. To avoid any possible confusion Overseas orders should include a clear indication of the country of destination for the order.

Credit and Debit Cards

We accept payment by Visa, and Mastercard debit and Maestro and Delta debit cards. We cannot accept American Express cards. Please make sure that the numbers and expiry date of cards are clearly written and ensure you include either the "valid from" date or issue number (as on the card) for debit card payments. To minimise cost to the Society, we would prefer UK orders to be paid by cheque or postal order.

Cheques and Postal Orders

Cheques and Postal Orders should be made payable to Manchester and Lancashire FHS. Please make sure that you have completed cheques and, in particular, signed them.

POSTAGE AND PACKING RATES

UK INLAND

(including all UK, N. Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight & Channel Islands)

UK Inland rates have been changed to reflect the new "Pricing-in-Proportion" tariffs. We have, however, eliminated the size element to avoid uncertainty. Most orders would, in any event, attract either the "Large Letter" or "Packet" rates.Wt grams Rate
