Manchester and the Abolition of the Slave Trade |
Founded in 1964, we support family history research in Greater Manchester including Bolton and Oldham. We welcome members from all parts of the UK and particularly those from overseas researching ancestors in the Manchester area. Our Resource Centre and bookshop are at Clayton House in central Manchester, close to all major transport termini. We offer an extensive programme of meetings with speakers on topics relevant to family and local history and the application of technology to family research. |
