National Burial Index

We have been engaged in the transcription of Burials in the Oldham District with the intention of submitting these to a National Project known as the NBI. (National Burials Index) . The following shows the current status of this project.

Currently our database holds 165,256 Oldham Churchyard Burials.

 

Further work began in 2008 on a number of churchyards including Oldham St James, Chadderton St Matthew and Lydgate St Anne.
