MLFHS is pleased to offer a selection of searchable databases for the use of members and non-members alike. Some of these databases are open to all users but others will provide non-members with only confirmation that the database contains records matching the search parameters entered. Unrestricted access to the full data is only available to Society members who are able to register for access to the MLFHS Member Area. Non-members should please note that requests for further information relating to search results will not be accepted.

Members' Interests Index Surname interests submitted by Society members.
Strays Index Assorted references to persons born or previously living in Manchester whose names appear in records from other places.
Manchester War Memorials Transcriptions of names taken from War memorials in Manchester. This information will, in due course, also appear on the database of the national Inventory of war Memorials.
Manchester Crematorium Obituaries Obituaries transcribed from several Manchester newspapers which relate to persons cremated at Manchester Crematorium 1900-1940.
