Anglo-Scottish Branch Meeting 16 Nov 2019

The topic for the November meeting will be “Using Irish Family History Websites” by Carol Wells

Carol takes Irish research to a personal level, using ‘real-life’ searches to show us how to navigate civil records, parish records, townlands and Griffith's Valuations as well as several other valuable resources, to track down those elusive Irish ancestors wherever possible. Carol has been researching Irish Ancestors for twenty years and has been to Ireland several times, most recently in June 2019, to visit all the family research centres in Dublin, and can draw upon her firsthand knowledge to help us with our searches. The meeting will be held in Performance Space 1 at Manchester Central Library.
